Melissa Rivers has written a book about her beloved late mom, Joan Rivers.
According to People, Rivers, 47, will release "The Book of Joan: Tales of Mirth, Mischief, and Manipulation," which will "share funny, poignant, and irreverent observations, thoughts, and tales about the woman who raised her," the television personality's publisher Crown Archetype stated.
"In our family we always believed that laughter was the best medicine," Melissa explained to the mag, adding: "I wanted to write a book that would make my mother laugh. I hope it makes you laugh, too."
It has to be noted that Melissa Rivers reveals numerous personal anecdotes in the book, which hits shelves on May 5.
