Rooney Mara recently talked about the buzzworthy "Girl With the Dragon Tattoo" sequel and revealed that is not set to be happening anytime soon.
In a new interview with E!, Mara, 29, said: "I don't think it's going to happen," noting: "I'm sad never to do it again, but it just doesn't seem like it's in the cards."
The film, which was directed by David Fincher, was released four years ago and co-starred Daniel Craig and Robin Wright.
Mara was nominated for Best Actress at the 2011 Oscars for her character as Lisbeth Salander.
