Nearly three years have gone by since Kevin Costner gave an emotional speech at the funeral of Whitney Houston.
Costner, now 60, has learned that Houston's only child Bobbi Kristina Brown, 21, is fighting for her life and circumstances are tragically similar to those that cost her mom's life.
In an interview with People, Costner revealed: "I was sad, obviously," noting: "That family's under a lot of stress right now, just an enormous amount of stress."
Just in case you have missed it, Brown was found unresponsive in her bathtub by her husband Nick Gordon on Saturday.
Gordon, 19, immediately started CPR on her until cops arrived and she was immediately rushed to a hospital in Georgia. Her family is now by her side and insiders claim she is not going to be able to recover.
"I can't imagine," Costner added, shaking his head with doubt, before winning a career achievement award at the 14th Annual AARP Movies for Grownups in Los Angeles on Monday.
Though the actor, now starring in "Black or White", admitted he hasn't spoken to Bobbi Kristina in "a little while," he wants nothing more than a speedy recovery for the legendary singer's daughter.
"I really hope she's okay," Costner concluded.
