According to Variety, Jim Parsons is set to play the role of God in the new Broadway comedy "An Act of God".
Parsons, 41, has taken the Broadway stage before with his latest performance happening in the 2012 revival of "Harvey".
"The Big Bang Theory" star, however, can't make it in Tony award contention this season because the show will open after the 2014-15 season's eligibility cutoff of April 23. Jim will be eligible, though, for the 2015-16 awards.
